Job Description: Our client is a European based company whose focus is on AI-Powered Precision Agricultural Technology. They are looking for vibrant, engaging and dynamic individuals to fulfill multiple positions across the company. This is a developing industry with exponential room for growth, and this client is at the forefront, leading the way across Europe, the USA and now emerging into Australian and New Zealand markets. This role for a Regional Sales Manager requires someone with a vast array of experience and knowledge in both sales, agriculture, technology and associated markets. This position is key for managing and expanding sales across Australia, at this stage predominantly across the east coast from Queensland to Victoria.
Key Responsibilities for the Regional Sales Manager role include, but are not limited to:
- Drive new business opportunities & drive revenue growth within the Australian, and potentially New Zealand, markets
- Oversee already existing dealership relationships & optimize dealership performance by providing product support and ensuring machinery is effectively marketed and sold
- Build and maintain current client relationships to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction, ‘you’re not just selling equipment; you’re helping to solve problems’
- Showcase the product at trade shows, conferences, field days, dealerships, customer demonstration days and other relevant presentation opportunities
- Willingness and understanding that both regional and international travel will be a key requirement for this position
- Willing to travel regularly throughout Australia, and potentially overseas, to meet with new and existing clients on farm and at agricultural events
- The client takes pride in their expanding business and their state-of-the-art product, successful applicant will need to have the same mentality
- Have the ability to consistently meet sales targets and KPIs whilst contributing to the business at an entrepreneurial level
- Willingness to undertake continual training and upskilling to maintain and expand on industry initiatives, developments, and market trends
Key qualities for successful applicants:
- Hold a Graduate qualification in Agriculture, Agronomy, Sales or other related field
- Have 5+ years of experience in sales and hands-on experience in agriculture, ag-tech, or precision equipment
- Willingness to travel domestically within Australia and overseas when needed
- Be a driven, focused and goal orientated individual who can work systematically to achieve targets
- Have excellent communication, networking and relationship building abilities
- Be confident, outgoing and have exceptional written and verbal presentation skills
- Be organised, efficient, and demonstrate strong initiative whilst working independently
- Be able to regularly coordinate with other members of the company, and all other relevant associations
- Current and valid drivers licence & travel documents
