This hands-on role is vital in maintaining water bores across expansive, rugged landscapes—keeping operations running and livestock thriving. About your daily tasks:
- Maintain and oversee various water bores, including systems equipped with Farm Bot technology
- Operate and service machinery such as graders, dozers, trucks, pumps, and small engines as needed
- Regularly inspect water sources, livestock watering points, and fencing, making necessary adjustments
- Proactively contribute to water infrastructure improvements and ensure optimal functionality
- Address issues swiftly and escalate critical concerns to management
About the successful candidate:
- Thrive in remote environments with minimal supervision
- Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on problem solving
- Skilled in working with motors, pumps, and machinery
- Grader experience highly regarded
- Hold a valid driver’s licence and own transport
