Looking for a Backpacker couple to do farm jobs & occasional horse feeding We are a boutique set just outside Robertson, Southern Highlands, NSW, 2 hours south of Sydney. At the beginning of December we hold an Horse Event and require property maintenance help in the lead up to this event.
Jobs include; but are not limited to:
1. Fence painting
2. Cross country jump painting & oiling
3. Weeding & property cleaning & maintenance
4. Mowing, whippersnipping & hedging
5. Stick & paddock clearing
6. There will be horse work, including feeding and rugging, so at least one person needs to have had horse experience.
Applicants must be capable of working physically hard, reliable & responsible. Applicants: MUST have a full driving licenses and own transport. Applicants will be required to operate electric vehicles and tractors along with other machinery & equipment, so any experience in this area is beneficial.
The job starts on Monday 15th September and will around 19th December 2025. It is a minimum of 40 hours per week, 5 days a week, however not necessarily limited to Mon-Fri as extra hours are available & encouraged.
Accommodation is included in a Cabin on a dam with a Queensize bed, fridge and TV. It includes linen but no towels. Toilets and showers a short walk away and an access to a kitchen. Food is not included
This job can count as your rural work for 2nd year WH Visas.
