Job Description: Our clients are seeking a reliable and experienced Senior Farm Hand to join their family-owned 4,000 hectare dry-land broadacre property, just 35 km from Clermont, in Central Queensland. This well-established farming enterprise focuses on wheat, barley, sorghum, and dry-land cotton, using modern John Deere machinery fitted with Greenstar GPS.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in broadacre cropping – planting, spraying, and harvest
- Operation and maintenance of large modern machinery – including Self-Propelled John Deere Spray rig
- Proficiency with GPS technology – GreenStar
- Mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform minor repairs
- Welding and Fabrication skills
- Truck licence (HR/ HC) – advantageous
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Excellent communication skills and time management
- Honest, reliable, and looking for a long-term opportunity
